Cuban collars have clearly been the statement for this Summer’s trend and in style, the first objective is to get the silhouette right. Vertical stripes in a fine woven cotton material makes this shirt not only breathable but gives me a more slender approach because of he illusion of the stripes! I cuff my shirts just as a personal preference now, it’s not the “trend” however, if there’s an opening, I’m going to cuff it. Why? I’m not a fan of long length short sleeve shirts, 10/10 would recommend to give it a whirl on a classic white t-shirt.
Down to trousers now. First, to get familiar with my build, I have a small waist, larger thighs, then average legs. Many athletic men & woman can agree that finding pants off the rack that fit perfectly is one hell of a task. I was lucky enough to score these “carrot” fit black pants and if you’re not familiar with the fit, I’ll give you a little break down! Waist is true to size, the rise/crotch is longer for more “breathing room”, thighs are a little more wider then it tapers down from the knee finishing the pant with a more smaller opening. Again, if you share my similar build, 10/10 would recommend.
For the accessories, I’m always in a hat, and you can do a lot with this, I just chose a low rise baseball cap in a faded blue and all white converse All-Stars because the main attention is the shirt.
Definitely give these silhouettes a try and let me know how it goes!
Until next time,
RominAndy.
